Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Novel Coronavirus Infection [Update]
The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has informed World Health Organization (WHO) of a new confirmed case of infection with the novel coronavirus. The patient, a 39-year-old male, was hospitalized on 28 February 2013 and died on 2 March 2013. To date, WHO has been informed of a global total of 15 confirmed cases of human infection with novel coronavirus, including nine deaths.

A cholera outbreak in the northernmost province of Cabo Delgado has spread to Cuamba district in the neighboring province of Niassa, Mozambique. Up to 2 March 2013, 33 cases had been reported in Cuamba.

In Bihar, India, an outbreak of H5N1 Avian Influenza which has killed 338 birds since 27 February 2013 was detected.

Macau: Enterovirus 71 Infection
A case of Enterovirus 71 infection affecting a 1-month-old boy was reported in Macau. The case had onset of symptoms on 1 March 2013 and was hospitalized on 2 March 2013.
