Worldwide: Swine and Seasonal Influenza
As of Mar 28, 2010, worldwide more than 213 countries and overseas territories/communities have reported laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1 (2009), including over 17 483 deaths.

In the Philippines, there were 1473 cases of Measles since 1 January 2010, which is 3.5 times higher than the number of cases in the same period last year.

South Africa: Measles [update]
In South Africa, the outbreak of Measles continued to affect Western Cape province. Up to now, over 1 000 cases with at least 13 deaths were reported in the province.

In Reunion, an outbreak of Chikungunya Fever with 19 confirmed cases and 4 probable cases was reported in Saint Paul.

As of 2010, 160 cases of Hepatitis A were reported in Guanajuato city of Mexico, which was two-fold higher than that in the whole figure last year.

In Brazil, the heaviest rain in 30 years hit Rio de Janeiro on 5 and 6 of April, triggering mudslides and floods that killed 95 people across the state. Airports, metro stations, major highways and power supply to many neighborhoods were affected.
