In the Philippines, a suspected outbreak of Cholera affecting more than 1 500 people with at least 2 deaths was reported in the southern region. Misamis Oriental was seriously affected in this outbreak.

In Democratic Republic of the Congo, an outbreak of Cholera affecting at least 26 people was reported in Pool region.

In Zimbabwe, the outbreak of Cholera continued to affect the country. The official death toll has risen to 94. Midlands and Masvingo provinces are added to the list of affected areas.

In Mozambique, 200 cases of Cholera with 53 deaths have been reported in Manica since the outbreak began in October last year.

Bangladesh: Avian Influenza, poultry
In Bangladesh, an outbreak of Avian Influenza which killed 760 birds was reported in Rajshahi in September this year. The remaining 340 birds were culled.
