In Indonesia, an outbreak of Chikungunya Fever affecting 24 people was reported in Bali.

In Indonesia, an outbreak of Dengue Fever with 23 reported cases was reported in Kundur island. Out of which, 15 cases were confirmed cases.

In Vietnam, 13 suspected human cases of Anthrax including 2 deaths were reported in Ha Giang Province. The victims felt sick after consuming meat of sick cattle.

Vietnam: Avian Influenza, poultry
In Vietnam, an outbreak of Avian Influenza which killed around 3 000 chickens was reported in Long An Province. Sample of the dead chicken was tested positive for H5N1 Avian Influenza.

In Vietnam, more than 20 000 cases of Dengue Fever, including 20 deaths, were reported in 28 locations so far this year. Cases continued to rise in the southern provinces which included 2 256 cases and 6 deaths in Ca Mau, more than 3 800 cases in Hochiminh city, more than 1 400 cases and 1 death in Tien Giang, more than 1 900 cases in Soc Trang and each with about 300 to 700 cases in Dong Thap, Bac Lieu, Kien Giang and Ben Tre. In addition, Quang Nam Province is currently also suffering from a Dengue Fever outbreak, where more than 250 patients were treated by a local hospital.

A Measles outbreak was reported in Italy with 2 079 cases registered between September 2007 and May 2008. Nearly half of the cases were reported in Piemonte Region.

Mongolia: Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease
As of 7 July, 2 618 cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease have been reported in Mongolia since the outbreak began in May this year.

Yemen reported a total of nearly 2 100 Dengue Fever cases so far this year. Recently 4 individuals infected with Dengue Fever all died within a week in Raymah and Hodeidah Governorates.

In Brazil, 35 510 cases of Dengue Fever were reported in the Ceara State so far this year. Rio de Janeiro also recorded 209 310 cases of Dengue Fever including 512 deaths.
As of 28 June, 8 791 cases of Dengue Fever were reported in Peru. Out of which, 2 049 cases were laboratory-confirmed cases.
